Overview

Sentio is a browser extension for Twitch channel pages. It shows an inline viewer counter, opens a popup, and provides a dashboard to help you review viewer patterns and investigate unusual activity. This Privacy Policy explains what information Sentio handles, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Information Sentio Handles

1. Settings and extension state

Sentio stores limited information in Chrome extension storage so the extension can function correctly. This may include:

• your local extension settings and preferences
• dashboard state and related extension state needed to keep the UI working
• temporary data needed to coordinate the popup, dashboard, and Twitch page experience
• limited local diagnostic information

This data is used only to operate Sentio on your device.

2. Twitch page and viewer-related data

When you actively use Sentio on a Twitch channel page, the extension reads and processes information available from Twitch pages and Twitch-provided responses needed for its features. Depending on the feature in use, this may include:

• Twitch usernames
• viewer counts and sampled viewer totals
• viewer labels and derived risk signals shown in the UI
• account-age or profile signals exposed through Twitch data available to the extension
• channel-page context needed to detect the current Twitch channel

This information is used to display the inline counter, popup, dashboard, charts, filters, and investigation labels inside the extension.

3. Information Sentio does not collect

Sentio does not collect or transmit:

• your browsing history
• data from non-Twitch websites
• passwords, payment information, or unrelated form input
• analytics or telemetry for Sentio-operated servers

Sentio does not run its own backend service for storing your extension data.

How Sentio Uses Information

Sentio uses the information it handles only to:

• activate on Twitch channel pages
• show its in-page counter and popup
• open and operate the Sentio dashboard
• remember local settings and extension state
• calculate and display viewer-analysis signals within the extension

We do not sell your data, rent your data, or use it for advertising.

Permissions and Why They Are Needed

Sentio requests only the permissions needed for its Twitch functionality:

• storage: used to save local settings and extension state
• tabs: used to open or focus the Sentio dashboard and coordinate with the relevant Twitch tab
• *://*.twitch.tv/*: used so Sentio can run on Twitch pages where the extension is intended to work

Data Transmission

Sentio operates in the browser and only interacts with Twitch resources needed for its Twitch-page functionality.

Sentio does not send your extension data to servers operated by us. It also does not use third-party analytics, advertising technology, or remote telemetry services.

Storage, Retention, and Deletion

• Sentio stores limited settings and extension state locally in Chrome extension storage on your device.
• Viewer-analysis data shown during your use of the extension is handled locally for the Sentio experience.
• You can remove locally stored Sentio data by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension’s stored data in Chrome.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose your extension data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

To the extent Sentio relies on Twitch pages and Twitch-provided data while operating on Twitch, Twitch may process requests according to Twitch’s own systems and policies.

Third-Party Services

Sentio is designed to work with Twitch pages. When you use Sentio, Twitch may process information according to Twitch’s own terms and privacy practices.

Children’s Privacy

Sentio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly design it for use by children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
